In recent days, in order to actively address the shortage of critical resource and technology products imported from China, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Commerce jointly issued the "Notice on Issuing the Catalogue of Encouraging Imported Technologies and Products" (Document No. 72515, Development and Reform Industry [200]). This initiative aims to encourage Chinese companies to import advanced technologies, essential equipment, and key raw materials that are vital for industrial development.
The newly released "Catalogue of Encouraging Imported Technologies and Products" includes a wide range of important machinery and advanced technologies. It specifically highlights the importance of high-end CNC machine tools and their core components. The catalogue encourages the import of key equipment such as high-precision milling centers, flexible machining units, turning centers, CNC grinders, gantry-type CNC milling machines, metal grinding machines, universal hydraulic presses, diamond hydraulic presses, CNC cutting machines, and more.
Additionally, it emphasizes the need for advanced manufacturing technologies in the production of CNC machine tool components and tools. This includes high-speed and precision CNC machines, CNC systems, AC servo devices, and linear motors with three or more axes.
To ensure effective implementation of the policy and promote trade balance, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Commerce have also introduced the Interim Measures for the Management of Import Subsidy Funds. These measures aim to standardize the use of financial support, improve the efficiency of public funds, and ensure that the policy is implemented smoothly and effectively across different sectors.
