Gas welding, auxiliary tools for gas cutting are mainly the following:
(1) Goggles. It is mainly to protect the welder's eyes from the glare of the flame, so that the weld pool metal can be carefully observed during the welding process, and splash metal particles can be prevented from splashing into the eyes. The color and depth of the lens of the goggles are selected according to the needs of the welder and the nature of the material to be rubbed. Too dark or too light will hinder the observation of the molten pool and affect the work efficiency.
(2) Ignition gun. It is safe and convenient to use a pistol-type igniter. When igniting with a match or lighter, a match or lighter must be sent from the back of the tip or tip to the tip or tip to prevent the hand from being burnt.
(3) Tools for cleaning welds: wire brush, hand hammer, file.
(4) Tools for connecting and opening and closing gas passages: wire cutters, wire, wrenches, etc.
(5) Clean the needles for the tip and the cutting nozzle. Each gas cutter should be provided with a set of steel needles of different thickness to remove the dirt that blocks the tip or the cutting nozzle.
(6) Hose. According to the national standard for welding and cutting safety, the hose is in accordance with GB2550-1992 and GB2551-1992, the oxygen hose is blue, the working pressure is 1.5MPa, the acetylene hose is red, and the working pressure is 0.3MPa. The hose of oxygen and acetylene gas consists of inner and outer rubber layers and intermediate cotton fiber layers. The whole hose is specially chemically processed to prevent its high flammability. Usually, the inner diameter of the oxygen hose is 8 mm, and the inner diameter of the acetylene hose is 10 mm. At present, the hoses specified in GB9448-1988 are still commonly used in factories. The oxygen tubes are black and the acetylene tubes are red. Only one gas can be used for each hose, and it cannot be substituted for each other. The length of the hose connected to the torch or torch should not be shorter than 5m, and it should not be too long, otherwise it will increase the resistance of gas flow, generally 10-15m.
