Modeling principle of gas pressure regulator
The gas pressure regulator model follows a specific naming convention based on its function, design, and technical specifications. The model is structured in a way that clearly indicates the type, operating principle, pressure levels, and connection method of the regulator.
The first part of the model consists of two letters: "RT" which stands for urban gas pressure regulators. The third character represents the working principle—“Z†denotes a direct-acting type, while “J†refers to an indirect-acting type. This section helps identify the basic functionality of the regulator.
The second part of the model is divided into three digits, separated by hyphens. The first digit represents the inlet pressure level, determined according to the maximum allowable inlet pressure specified in Table 1. The second digit indicates the outlet pressure grade, based on the maximum allowable outlet pressure from Table 2. The final digit corresponds to the pipe diameter code, as outlined in Table 3.
Regarding the connection method, if the pipe diameter is less than or equal to 50 mm, a threaded connection is used. For diameters larger than 50 mm, a flange connection is required. If neither condition applies, no code is needed. However, if the connection method deviates from these standards, it must be explicitly marked with "L" for threaded or "F" for flange connections.
