Automatic Welding Mask Instructions:

1. Remove the protective film from both the inner and outer surfaces of the frame box before use.

2. When not welding, the lens remains transparent, allowing a clear view of the workpiece. As soon as the arc is initiated, the lens automatically darkens to protect your eyes. Once the welding stops, the lens returns to its transparent state.

3. Adjust the delay return switch based on the type of welding you are performing. This ensures the lens reverts to its clear state at the right time after welding stops.

4. Set the shade number using the adjustment knob according to the welding current and method. Refer to Table 1 provided for recommended shade numbers for different welding processes.

5. Adjust the headband for a comfortable and secure fit:

  • a. Turn the headband so that the adjustment button is positioned at the back of your head. Press down while turning the adjustment knob counterclockwise to loosen the band, or clockwise to tighten it.
  • b. Adjust the positioning holes on the head frame body to set the vertical position of the headband from the top of your head to your eyes.
  • c. Loosen the nuts on both sides of the headband. This allows the mask to slide within the long slot of the headband, adjusting the distance between the lens and your eyes.
  • d. Use the positioning tab to fine-tune the viewing angle of the lens for optimal visibility.

Full Automatic Welding Mask Maintenance:

- Clean the frame box with a household glass cleaner. Wipe it with a tissue or clean cloth using a mild detergent. Avoid pouring liquid directly onto the frame. Do not use corrosive chemicals, solvents, or oils. Never immerse the lens case in water or other liquids.

- Wash the headband with a neutral detergent. Avoid harsh cleaning agents.

- Never hit or slam the filter lens directly, as this can damage the sensitive components.

Important Safety Notes:

- Always install the outer protective sheet on the frame box. Failing to do so may lead to damage to the frame.

- If the frame becomes cracked or scratched, it may impair your vision and reduce the level of protection. Replace it immediately if damaged.

- Replace the protective sheet if it is broken or scratched. Avoid touching the filter lens during replacement to prevent contamination or damage.

- The operating temperature range is -5°C (23°F) to +55°C (131°F). In low temperatures, the liquid crystal material inside the lens may respond more slowly, but this does not affect the protective functions.

- Do not store the mask near heat sources or in humid environments.

- Avoid using alcohol, gasoline, or thinners to clean the frame. Do not submerge the mask in water.

- Change the sweatband regularly to maintain hygiene and comfort.

- Replace any worn parts only with original components provided by the supplier.
