Automatic Welding Mask Instructions:

1. Remove the protective film from both the inner and outer surfaces of the frame box before use.

2. When not welding, the lens remains transparent, allowing clear visibility of the workpiece. As soon as an arc is generated, the lens automatically darkens to protect your eyes. Once welding stops, the lens returns to its transparent state.

3. Depending on the welding method used, adjust the delay return switch to match the specific requirements of your task.

4. Adjust the shade number knob according to the welding current and the type of welding being performed. Refer to Table 1 for recommended shade numbers based on different conditions.

5. Adjust the headband for a comfortable and secure fit:

a. First, turn the headband so that the adjustment button is positioned at the back of your head. Press down while turning the adjustment knob counterclockwise to loosen the band, or clockwise to tighten it.

b. Adjust the positioning holes on the head frame to set the vertical position of the headband from the top of your head down to your eyes.

c. Loosen the nuts on both sides of the headband to move the mask forward or backward within the long slot, adjusting the distance between the lens and your eyes.

d. Use the positioning tab to fine-tune the viewing angle of the lens for optimal visibility.

Full Automatic Welding Mask Maintenance:

• Clean the frame box using a household glass cleaner. Wipe the surface with a tissue or a clean cloth dampened with a mild detergent. Avoid pouring liquid directly onto the frame. Do not use corrosive substances, solvents, or oil-based cleaners. Never submerge the lens case in water or any other liquid.

• Wash the headband with a neutral detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the material.

• Never slam or drop the filter lens, as this can cause damage or reduce its effectiveness.

Important Precautions:

• Always install the outer protective sheet on the frame box. Failure to do so may lead to damage or reduced protection.

• If the frame becomes cracked or scratched, it may affect your field of vision and reduce the mask’s protective capabilities. Replace it immediately if damaged.

• Replace the protective sheet if it is broken or scratched. Avoid touching the filter lens during replacement to prevent contamination or damage.

The operating temperature range is from -5°C (23°F) to +55°C (131°F). In colder environments, the response time of the liquid crystal material inside the lens may slow slightly, but this does not affect the mask's protective performance.

• Avoid storing the mask in hot or humid areas, as this can degrade the materials over time.

• Do not use alcohol, gasoline, or thinners to clean the frame. Never immerse the mask in water.

• Change the sweatband regularly to maintain hygiene and comfort.

• Replace worn or damaged parts only with genuine components provided by the manufacturer.
