"A few days ago, a group of scammers tried to trick some elderly people on the street," he said. "But thanks to our electronic surveillance system, their plan was thwarted." This success highlighted the importance of modern security measures in maintaining public safety.
To further enhance the township’s functions and improve management, Baiguo Township has set a goal of "building a peaceful and harmonious ginkgo town." Following the principle of "unified planning, clear standards, focused efforts, and phased implementation," the project is led by the Party committee and government, with active participation from all sectors of society. The comprehensive management departments and public security agencies are working together to implement an advanced technological surveillance system, using a market-oriented approach to ensure sustainability.
The video surveillance system was supported and funded by various local organizations, including Jiaxin Supermarket, Warm Supermarket, Bai Guo Supermarket, and Qisheng Company. Thanks to their generous contributions, over RMB 210,000 was raised, allowing the installation of 24 high-definition, multi-functional cameras in key locations such as central supermarkets, financial offices, schools, and busy intersections in both Baiguo and Lianghekou Towns.
These high-resolution, rotating cameras provide round-the-clock monitoring of the entire market area, covering every corner and street. As a result, both Baiguo and Lianghekou Towns now have full coverage of the electronic eye system, significantly enhancing the sense of security among residents. With this initiative, the township continues to move forward in its mission to create a safer and more peaceful environment for everyone.
