1. Before applying insulation, ensure that the facilities and pipelines are free from leaks, clean, dry, and free of oil or rust. In case of orange mandarin conditions, it's recommended to apply a suitable coating for corrosion protection.

2. To minimize heat loss, all joints between insulation boards and felt must be tightly sealed. When using multi-layer insulation, stagger the joints to avoid thermal bridging. During cooling operations, eliminate any cold bridges to maintain efficiency.

3. For outdoor insulation or in areas where mechanical damage is likely, use rock wool products with metal or plastic outer coverings. Pay special attention to joints, seams, and seals. If necessary, use adhesive to seal them, and ensure that each wrap overlaps by at least 100mm for better performance.

4. For cold insulation, a moisture barrier must be applied on the cold surface. In cases of extremely low temperatures, use resin-free rock wool, and make sure the moisture barrier is also fire-resistant to meet safety standards.

5. When the temperature exceeds 200°C, proper thermal protection is essential to prevent expansion from affecting the thickness or density of the insulation material.

6. For large-diameter or flat wall equipment, add insulation nails when the temperature goes above 200°C. Ensure the outer protective layer is secure and well-sealed to maintain insulation integrity.

7. If the insulated object is vertical and tall, install positioning pins or support rings every 3 meters or less to prevent the insulation from sliding down due to vibration or movement.

8. Avoid conducting outdoor insulation or cold insulation work during rainy weather. If unavoidable, implement proper rain protection measures to protect the insulation materials and ensure quality installation.

Rock Wool for Exterior Walls

The primary requirement for rock wool used in exterior walls is high strength and good tensile resistance. To achieve this, manufacturers often increase the density of the rock wool and adjust the amount of binding agent used during production.

Basalt-based rock wool is considered the best option in terms of raw material quality. It offers fine fibers, excellent thermal insulation properties, and strong tensile strength, making it ideal for various construction applications.

These products are designed to meet the general engineering requirements of domestic projects, ensuring both performance and durability in real-world conditions.
