Colorants, including lutein and carotene, are often added to enhance the appearance of poultry products, such as making goose skin and eggs appear more vibrant. The typical dosage for colorants is between 10 to 20 grams per ton of feed. These additives not only improve the visual appeal but also increase the market value of the final products.
