To meet growing market demands, enhance production capacity, and boost profitability, the company has initiated a major reform and expansion project—Phase II of its development plan. This initiative aims to significantly increase annual output and double the company's overall value.
According to recent estimates, once the second phase is fully completed, the company's annual output value could reach 320 million yuan, with an expected annual profit and tax contribution of 50 million yuan. A key innovation in this project is the introduction of the "cobalt-free low-nickel prealloyed dry-cut diamond CNC tool" technology, which is set to fill a critical gap in China’s diamond tool manufacturing sector.
At the factory site, Su Shunde, the company’s production manager, shared with reporters that orders from both domestic and international markets have surged since the start of the year. Particularly, demand from regions such as the Middle East, Mexico, and Southeast Asia has increased by 80% compared to the same period last year.
To meet this rising demand, Hubei Changli has accelerated the construction of its Phase II expansion. The project involves a total investment of 100 million yuan and covers 60 mu of land. Construction began in August 2012, with plans to build four new factories, including cutting head and saw blade production workshops, welding facilities, and an R&D center. Advanced production equipment and testing systems will be introduced, including 89 sets of testing devices. Once operational, the annual production capacity for diamond CNC tools is expected to reach 1 million units.
So far, over 30 million yuan has been invested, and a 1,500-square-meter factory has already been completed. New equipment is being installed and tested one after another. Upon full operation, the company expects to double both its production capacity and output value.
Technical upgrades are seen as a crucial strategy for enterprise transformation and growth. Gu Renfu, the company’s deputy general manager, explained: “In the past, we relied on manual labor, where one worker could produce about 600 pieces per day. Now, with semi-automated production, the daily output per person has jumped to 2,200 pieces. This not only boosts efficiency but also reduces labor costs. That’s why, alongside the expansion, we’ve placed significant emphasis on upgrading our technology and equipment.â€
