Since 2006, Daqing researchers have been intensively studying on the Chengye team to reduce the well-seismic matching error from 10% to 15% to 1% to 2% in the existing seismic frequency band, achieving thin interlayer high-precision inversion , And formed the Z inversion reservoir prediction software.

At the beginning of 2016, the field demonstration of the software showed an average increase of 12.2 percentage points compared with the commercial software prediction results, and the sandstone encounter rate reached 91.1%.
