Ten Construction Company Deploys "Safety Production Month" Campaign

In response to the requirements outlined in the Notice issued by the National Safety and Environmental Protection Bureau of the Group regarding the implementation of the 2014 National “Safety Production Month” and “Safe Production Million Miles” activities, the Ten Construction Company recently released an official notice urging all departments to integrate these initiatives into their current management practices. The company emphasizes the importance of thoroughly studying and effectively implementing these measures to ensure a safer working environment.

The theme for this year’s “Safety Production Month” campaign is: “Strengthening the Red Line Awareness and Promoting Safe Development.” To achieve this, the Ten Construction Company has established a dedicated office to oversee the “Safety Production Month” and “Safe Production Wanlixing” activities. All units and project departments are required to strengthen their organizational leadership, plan carefully, and ensure that the activities are carried out efficiently. The company will also dispatch relevant personnel to key engineering sites to guide the launch of safety campaigns, conduct special training sessions, perform security inspections, and verify the effectiveness of hazard remediation efforts.

As part of the strict management initiative in May, the Ten Construction Company has requested that all units treat the “Safety Production Month” and “Safe Production Wanlixing” activities as a core component. From June to July, the focus will be on comprehensive diagnosis and problem identification, analyzing key issues, identifying potential hazards, and developing corrective actions. From August to December, the emphasis will shift toward addressing these issues and establishing long-term regulations to prevent recurrence.

The company also stresses the importance of conducting thorough investigations to promptly eliminate risks and ensuring deep field operations aligned with the “Seven Thoughts and Seven Quits” approach. It further reinforces the need to strictly enforce the “Implementation Methods for the Safety Management of Dry Stations at the End of the Day,” particularly in dealing with the “Three Violations” (violations of rules, discipline, and procedures). Any illegal operations must be identified, punished, and used as learning opportunities to improve overall safety awareness. The company insists on fully implementing the production safety responsibility system, breaking down HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) responsibilities into every process and position across construction and production activities.

Leaders at all levels are urged to take active roles in grassroots supervision and inspection, practicing their HSE duties through real action. Additionally, the Ten Construction Company requires careful organization of emergency drills, especially in preparation for summer safety challenges. This includes specialized inspections for flood control, lightning protection, and hidden danger identification, with particular attention given to high-altitude work, lifting operations, and large-scale scaffolding. Safety measures for demolition, confined space operations, and temporary power supply must be strictly followed, and sufficient emergency rescue materials should be available.

Finally, the company encourages full participation in environmental protection campaigns and educational activities, organizing various forms of safety promotion to foster a strong culture of safety within the organization.
